Gray + Press has experienced significant growth and due to internal promotions are seeking a Tax Manager/Associate Director or a qualified accountant with some tax experience.

We provide compliance and tax advice on a range of matters such as M&A, Private Equity transition, Inheritance Tax Planning and Business Transaction Advice.

Our offices are located near the Titanic Quarter in Belfast with parking nearby.

The partners encourage and promote all team members to continually develop to enable a good work environment and ensure that work/life culture is maintained with our offices closing every Friday at 1pm.

The ability to maintain this environment is through our excellent client base, well structured workplan and a very competent cohesive team that has clear direction and purpose within the organisation.

Key elements of this role are organisation of the key tax deadlines within the firm, review of compliance and ability or keen interest to write and co-ordinate advice.

This role is suited to someone who currently works in tax in either a broad role or a specialism that is seeking to expand their range of areas or a qualified accountant who has experience in tax and seeking to extend that.

  • Key Duties
  • Passionate about providing excellent client service
  • A self-starter who has experience of managing and mentoring junior team members
  • Reviewing personal and corporation tax compliance (experience across both not a requirement)
  • The work will be wide-ranging including providing high quality corporate tax advisory services to corporates and tax advice to personal individuals.

I. e M&A transactional advice, IHT and corporate taxes.(Experience in this is not essential as training will be provided)

  • Personal and/or Corporate tax experience
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated
  • Competitive Salary (depending on experience to date)
