It's time to shake up the way we sell and let property. People have put up with inefficiency in agency for so long because there’s been no alternative; in fact, agency is often seen as a necessary evil – until now. We also believe that property shouldn’t be complicated and doesn’t need smoke and mirrors to be done well. That’s why at G&T we use common sense and just like to do things properly – we get to know you and your needs; we work hard to find the perfect target audience; and we act at the right time. It’s simple, smooth and, most importantly, it works. Our philosophy is simple: property, properly.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Valuer to join our residential sales team. This is a key role focused on winning new business, carrying out accurate market appraisals, and converting valuations into instructions while delivering outstanding customer service. You will be the face of the business in the local market, building strong relationships with vendors and helping them achieve the best possible outcome for their property sale. You will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the ongoing success and reputation of the company.

Key responsibilities:
  • Carry out residential sales valuations and market appraisals
  • Accurately assess property values using local market knowledge and comparable evidence
  • Win new instructions
  • Advise vendors on pricing strategies, marketing, and sales processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Conduct property viewings when required
  • Negotiate offers and progress sales through to completion
  • Represent Gray & Toynbee and its values at all times
  • Contribute to the overall success and growth of the business
Experience:
  • Proven experience as a sales valuer/lister
  • Strong knowledge of the local residential property market
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
What we offer:
  • Basic salary £30k+
  • Clear, uncapped, commission structure
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Ongoing training and professional development
