Are you an experienced ER professional who is at your best when there is plenty to get stuck into? We are recruiting a Senior Employee Relations Adviser to join a busy HR team at a time of significant activity and change. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines providing theoretical HR advice. Our client needs a confident, pragmatic ER practitioner who can pick up a case, understand what needs to happen and move it forward. You will work alongside an experienced HR colleague, sharing a varied ER caseload and supporting managers across the organisation. What will you be doing? You will manage and advise on a broad range of employee relations matters including: Grievances and disciplinaries Performance and capability Short and long-term absence Conduct matters Complex and sensitive employee issues Investigations and formal processes Organisational change and consultation where required Coaching managers through challenging people situations Reviewing and improving HR policies, templates and processes Initially, there will be plenty of reactive ER work.
