About the Role
Gray Healthcare is recruiting a Female Support Worker to support a woman living independently in her own home in Wrexham. She is supported with emotional wellbeing and mental health needs and receives 1:2:1 support, 24 hours a day, from a consistent female team covering day and waking night shifts. This is a person-centred role focused on promoting independence, emotional wellbeing, safety, and meaningful community living. You will support her to build stability, develop coping strategies, and live a fulfilling life in her home and local community.

- Supporting her to live safely and independently in her home and community

- Following person-centred care plans and risk assessments
- Using calm, consistent, and least restrictive approaches
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and managing distress
- Building a trusting and professional relationship
- Working as part of a skilled, consistent team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in health and social care, ideally supporting people with mental health needs
- Experience supporting behaviours of distress and self-injury
- Ability to adapt communication to individual needs
- Calm, resilient, and consistent approach
- Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and independence
- Motivation to promote meaningful engagement and outcomes
- Experience in trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches
