About the Role
Gray Healthcare is recruiting a Bank Female Support Worker to support individuals living independently in their own home in Blackpool and Preston. They receive 1:1 support, 24 hours a day, from a consistent female support team working day, night, and sleep shifts. This role focuses on supporting emotional wellbeing, independence, and meaningful activity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the individual to maintain independence
- Encouraging engagement in activities and interests
- Following person‑centred support plans and risk assessments
- Using consistent and least‑restrictive approaches
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and responding to distress
- Building a safe and trusting relationship
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in health and social care, ideally supporting complex emotional needs
- Experience supporting behaviours of distress
- Strong communication skills
- Calm, consistent approach
- Good literacy and numeracy skills

Working Hours
0 hour contract. 12 hour days shifts from 8am to 8pm and night shifts from 8pm to 8am.
