We have an excellent opportunity for a Storeperson/Forklift operator to join our well established and successful Steel Fabrication company based in Fife, Scotland.
4 Day working week Mon to Thu: 4 x 9.75hrs
Job Type: Full-time
Basic Salary £29-32k depending on experience + annual bonus
Hours: 39 per week (paid monthly)
An experienced Stores coordinator, methodical in their approach to inventory control with good IT skills to ensure our stock management system is fully utilised.
You will be:
- Booking out of Welding consumables & PPE to employees.
- Maintaining tidy and efficient stores and stock yard.
- Raising purchase orders for goods.
- Loading/Unloading of lorries using forklift truck / overhead cranes. (Training provided)
- Unloading and correct storage of deliveries.
- Communicating with suppliers to ensure best prices and deliveries.
- Data entry into company ERP systems.
- Prep goods for dispatch.
- Day to day stock control.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The successful person will be trustworthy, respectful and methodical. You will have:
- FLT Certificate (Preferred).
- Good understanding of health & safety in the workplace.
- Good IT skills, eager to learn new system.
- Good communicator.
- Strong work ethic.
