Our people are at the heart of our business and we’re recruiting for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join our Out of Hours team working on a remote basis. We’re ideally looking for the successful candidate to work 30 hours per week, working every other weekend (10 hour shift on both Saturday and Sunday plus 1 hour unpaid lunch) and 3 x evening shifts per week (1 x 6 hour 6pm - midnight shift and 2 x 5 hours shifts, 6pm - 11pm) and on the week when not working the weekend to work 4 x evening shifts per week (6 hours shift 6pm - midnight). This is an exciting time to join us as we’re rapidly expanding our global operations.
What You’ll Do
- Providing high levels of customer service you’ll handle enquiries and reservations ensuring that they are responded to professionally, arranging and confirming bookings and building traveller’s profiles to make sure that their needs are met.
- Carry out research for our clients to make sure they get the best deal.
- Process Travel tickets, reissues and documentation.
- Offer advice and guidance on available options to our clients for each itinerary including advice on visas, passport requirements and vaccinations.
- Handle refunds and cancellations.
- Help to train and support new staff as they join the team.
What we’re looking for
- You’ll be a motivated, passionate individual who has previous experience of working in business travel.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience using Travelport & Sabre.
- You’ll have an excellent telephone manner, excellent verbal reasoning skills and great attention to detail.
- You’ll have BA1 or equivalent.
