Key job requirements – Trainee Stores Person
- Receiving and dispatching goods from the warehouse
- Checking materials on arrival for quantity and quality
- Storing materials correctly and clearly marking stock locations
- Supporting production by issuing parts and materials as required
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the stores area
- Communicating any issues or discrepancies to the relevant team members
Skills that will help you succeed in this role
- Good attention to detail
- An organised and methodical approach to work
- Basic IT skills and willingness to learn inventory systems
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A forklift licence is not essential — training can be provided.
