As part of our clients continued growth, they are opening an exciting new Casino venue in Middlesbrough and are looking for Casino Managers to help lead the new Casino and Gaming Studio, driving performance, inspiring the team, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and customer service.
This is a Casino & Gaming Studio duty manager role reporting to the Casino & Studio Operations Manager. As a Casino Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of both the business-to-business Gaming Studio and the retail Casino venue on a shift-by-shift basis. You will lead the department teams implementing the business plans and service standards to deliver success for the business, the customer, our colleagues, the local community and the regulator. You will be running the venue, carrying out all admin and customer service duties as required to ensure the venue is held to our clients high and professional standard. You will make the difference by inspiring, motivating and leading your teams in creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers and colleagues alike.
What You'll Do:
- Lead day-to-day casino operations with visible, hands-on leadership.
- Motivate, develop and empower your department teams to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage the venue on a shift basis ensuring the highest levels of presentation, cleanliness and health & safety are consistently achieved.
- Ensure the venue is continually compliant, demonstrating a strong knowledge of all relevant regulation and policies.
- Maximise revenue by monitoring performance and managing gaming activity.
- Act as the key point of contact on site for both customers and colleagues.
- Foster a positive, safe, and professional working environment.
- Promote responsible gambling standards and safeguard both customers and business.
- Support all HR processes including recruitment and staff development, from trainee level upwards.
- Be a key part of a highly capable management team who are fanatical about safer gambling, customer excellence and a quality product managing shifts to deliver on these elements.
Key Skills:
- Experienced industry professional casino/gaming background desirable but not essential as full training will be offered.
- Confident problem-solver and decision-maker, used to fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Handle customer disputes with empathy and professionalism.
- Support marketing initiatives and keep your team informed and engaged.
- Maintain high standards of compliance, security, and venue health & safety.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work across a 24/7 operation, including evenings, nights and weekends.
