Graduate Trainee Health & Safety Manager Based in Preston with Travel across the North of England Our client are a large national retail business with a long established store base. They are looking to recruit a Graduate Trainee Health & Safety Manager to cover their Stores across the North West of England. Initially based in Preston this is a superb opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for Health & Safety to join a business that will develop, fund qualifications and help you build a multi department career within an established Retail/Wholesale brand. The Role: As a Graduate Trainee, you\’ll gain hands-on experience across all areas of our clients diverse operations including Retail, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Head Office functions. You\’ll learn how workplace safety is managed across multiple industries while working alongside experienced professionals while being fully supported to gain industry-recognised qualifications. Whether youve studied Business Management, Law, Environmental Science, Human Resources, Public Health and more, what matters most is your desire to learn and build a career in this important field. Your permanent employment will be subject to the successful completion of the following fully funded qualifications: * IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH General Certificate to be completed within 4 months * NEBOSH Diploma to commence upon receipt of General Certificate results, with full support and funding provided over a 12 to 18-month period These industry-recognised qualifications will give you comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management,hazard control, and how to foster a strong safety culture across varied working environments.
