We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and motivated Night Shift Van Driver based in Spencer's Wood, Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and is confident driving a van throughout London.

Each evening, you'll begin your shift in Reading, loading your vehicle before heading out on a planned delivery route to corporate office locations across London. As well as making deliveries, you'll ensure customer sites are fully stocked, well presented, and ready for the next working day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and load your allocated company van at the start of each shift.
  • Complete scheduled delivery routes to corporate offices across London.
  • Replenish stock and merchandise products to a high standard.
  • Monitor stock levels and place replenishment orders where required.
  • Accurately complete delivery paperwork and inventory records.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
  • Assist with warehouse duties, including picking and preparing orders, during quieter periods.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Confidence driving a long-wheelbase van in and around London.
  • Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse, merchandising or logistics (preferred but not essential).
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Good physical fitness, as the role involves regular lifting and manual handling.
Package: £14.67 per hour. Guaranteed 44 hours per week. Company pension scheme. Company van provided during working hours. Full training and ongoing support. A varied role combining driving, customer service and warehouse responsibilities.
Shift Pattern: Sunday-Thursday 5:00pm start on Sunday 6:00pm start Monday-Thursday.
