ABOUT THE ROLE
A BRIEF SUMMARY
The Warehouse Technician is a core part of the efficient working of the warehouse, equipment and outdoor broadcast truck lifecycle. It is responsible for the preparation and loading of technical equipment prior to trucks leaving to go to site. The role is to assist engineers at all levels to carry out any preparation task as well as being responsible for the organisation and storage of kit within the warehouse. With a basic understanding of Health and Safety and good Warehouse practices, the Warehouse Technician will ensure smooth and effective work practices are being deployed, suggesting and implementing improvements in process where appropriate.

Weekly hours: 37.5 hours per week
Reporting to: Base Technical Manager

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- To work with the resources department for kit collection and preparations for outgoing outdoor broadcast trucks (OB’s)
- Responsible for the day‑to‑day prep process
- Preps equipment/packages in collaboration with other Engineering Dept. to ensure fully prepared for outgoing OB’s
- Assist in stores and able to maintain stock levels
- Loading trucks with technical equipment
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment
- Shift pattern work including weekends, early mornings and evenings – 37.5 hours per week
