About the Role
Reporting to the Equipment Resource Manager, the Resources Coordinator – Audio will play a vital role within a busy and business‑critical resources department, ensuring all jobs are sufficiently and efficiently supplied with audio equipment as per production requirements.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Scheduling the equipment allocation, ensuring maximum efficiency and utilisation of stock equipment
- Hiring equipment from rental companies for any shortfall, raising purchase orders and signing off invoices as required
- Working closely with Production, Unit Managers and Engineering Leads to ensure work is adequately resourced
- Ensuring all cross‑load allocations and logistics are planned in advance with the respective departments and that all required parties are aware of what needs to be achieved
- Ensuring the communication pathway between Resources and Base Operations is clear and effective; specifically ensuring that the resources load lists are completed to the correct standards with clear and accurate information for the engineering teams to implement
This role is for you if you have:
- A knowledge of Outside Broadcasting Audio equipment
- Strong planning, prioritising and organisational skills
- Ability to multi‑task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
- Able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to provide successful outcomes
- Strong creativity and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work at our headquarters, regular hours Monday‑Friday with some on‑call / overtime available
