ABOUT THE ROLE
A BRIEF SUMMARY
Join the Gravity Media Technology team, in partnership with our clients, Premier League Studios, predominantly basedat their newcutting-edgebroadcast facility in Olympia, but with some travel to other sites including our remote broadcast centre in West London.
Part of a new automationled, technologically advanced way of delivering the highest quality broadcast services.
Remote production is central to what we do, and our engineers are a key technical link between production teams, galleries, outside broadcasts and distribution partners.
You’llbe part of a small, supportive team responsible for day-to-day technical operations and broadcast workflows across the facility and our remote productions.

- WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Support and operateon-premiseand cloud-based broadcast infrastructure and services.
- Work across live and post-production workflows, including Ultra HD and HDR environments.
- Monitor and optimise IP-based media networks, collaborating with IT teams on multicast, Qo S, and resilience.
- Contribute to the design, testing, and improvement of IP-based broadcast workflows, including ST-2110 and NMOS.
- Incident response & service reliability
- Provide hands-on technical support during service-impacting incidents, including live broadcast events.
- Investigate faults, implement fixes, and document outcomes clearly.
- Use ITSM or ticketing systems to track incidents, planned work, and follow-up actions.
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing activities.
- Implement broadcast infrastructure upgrades, technical refreshes, and configuration changes.
- Participate in technical projects, including design input, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Maintainaccurateand accessible technical documentation such as system configurations, diagrams, and operating procedures.
- Contribute to change management processes to ensure changes are planned, tested, and communicated.
- Work closely with production colleagues, both onsite and remotely, to support broadcast output.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues andmaintainservices.
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical colleagues when needed.

- THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IFYOU HAVE
- Proven experience in a broadcast engineering or media systems engineering role within live and/or post-production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ultra HD and HDR standards and workflows.
- Experience working with cloud-based broadcast platforms and virtualisation technologies.
- Confidence troubleshooting complex systems both onsite and remotely.
- Experience implementing broadcast infrastructure upgrades and system refreshes.
- Familiarity with ITSM or ticketing systems for managing incidents and technical work.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.
