We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions in a consulting environment. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce platform capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical expertise and recommendations. Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools. Perform data migrations and ensure data integrity within Salesforce. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members. Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices, incorporating them into development processes. Requirements Experience: 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development. Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, and other relevant certifications preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), and SOQL/SOSL. Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including workflows, process builders, and validation rules. Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware solutions. Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Salesforce DX. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Location: Based in the UK, with the ability to work remotely and travel occasionally for client meetings if required.
