This role is offered on a hybrid basis from either our Norwich, London, or Oxford offices, working closely with client services colleagues across the globe. You will be surrounded by specialists across the business and supported to continue developing your career in a collaborative environment.
We are looking for a commercially minded, strategically strong and highly credible client leader with an eye for creative and strong understanding of digital and performance marketing. You will be an expert relationship builder, confident managing multiple large accounts across time zones, and able to spot opportunities that drive both client success and agency growth. This is an opportunity to step into a senior role within a busy team, helping to lead a group of skilled Account Handlers both formally and informally. Previous experience working in a fast‑paced agency environment is essential. You will join a globally recognised agency with a strong reputation for delivering high‑impact work for ambitious brands in complex sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between a portfolio of global clients, many of which will be large enterprise organisations, and our internal delivery teams across Strategy, Creative, Performance and Digital Marketing, Go To Market, and Digital Experience.
- Lead the delivery of best‑in‑market digital strategies that support client business goals and deliver measurable impact.
- Provide first‑rate support to the Associate Director, Client Services, helping to lead, manage and develop a team of Account Handlers.
- Drive agency growth across your client portfolio through cross‑sell, up‑sell and increased investment in core services, underpinned by operational excellence, strategic thinking and opportunity spotting.
- Independently craft commercially sound digital marketing strategies for some of the agency’s largest and most fast‑paced clients.
- Lead cross‑functional delivery teams in executing those strategies, often across different time zones.
- Pivot and strengthen campaigns based on performance, market conditions and emerging opportunities or challenges.
- Take financial ownership of the clients you work on, ensuring accounts and projects are commercially healthy and profitable.

- Proven ability to generate commercial growth, ideally within an agency Account Management function.
- Confidence in presenting to clients and managing complex or challenging situations.
- Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
- Excellent line management and people development skills, with the ability to mentor, manage and develop direct reports and junior colleagues.
- Hands‑on experience of digital marketing channels. PPC, Social and Digital PR experience would be particularly valuable.
- Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
