We are looking for an experienced HR Officer, who can help us in providing an essential support service to all areas of our business. We are a small People team, so we are looking for someone who will thrive in a growth environment, in a HR generalist role, and who is happy to learn new skills to cover leave for others within the team. We believe that having fun matters, and this doesn’t just relate to our customers. Our Head Office teams play a vital role in supporting our sites, and we pay close attention to the small details that make a big difference.   • Employee relations advisory support experience is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day administration of the HR function.
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of the HRIS (elementsuite) ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support hiring managers with recruitment needs, particularly during peak periods.
  • Provide guidance to Team Members and Managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes.
  • Pro-actively manage the employee relations case load for both business brands, in line with Company policy.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on case load, including themes, key learnings and case work KPIs.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and processes in line with legislation.
  • Promote a positive & inclusive workplace.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programs.
  • Review and validate payroll-related changes (e.g. salary adjustments, bonuses, overtime).
  • Produce and validate HR reports to support payroll and wider business needs.
  • Monitor and analyse people-related data including turnover, retention, attendance and performance review completion.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Senior HR Administrator, HR Advisor or HR Officer role is essential.
  • Experience advising on and supporting employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances and performance management is essential.
  • Experience using HRIS systems (HRIS), ideally elementsuite or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive employee matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is advantageous.
