We are a growing Company founded in Yorkshire. With our Head Office situated in Wakefield City Centre, we operate 2 different brands across the UK and internationally.
Working across all brands, we’re excited to be recruiting for a Junior HR Business Partner to join our People Team.

We\’re looking for a Junior HR Business Partner, who can help us in providing an essential support service to all areas of our business. We’re a small HR team, so we’re looking for someone who will thrive in a growth environment, in a HR generalist role, and who’s happy to learn new skills to cover leave for others within the team.
Employee relations advisory support experience is essential. If your experience is within the leisure, entertainment, hospitality or retail environment that would be an added bonus! You will be able to demonstrate your employment legislation and policy knowledge seamlessly and have a friendly and approachable manner that partners with business leaders and team members alike to resolve concerns, queries or conflict with ease and compassion. If you\’re analytical, and eager to progress your career into a partnering role, this could be the job for you.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
- To be the first point of contact for business leaders and team members for employee relations queries.
- Business partner and provide trusted advice to line managers on dealing with leadership challenges, and all areas of the employee lifecycle and employee relations matters.
- To pro-actively manage the employee relations case load for both business brands, in line with Company policy.
- To provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on case load, including themes, key learnings, and case work KPI’s.
- Review and create Company policy documents as and when required and in line with legislative changes.
- To provide administrative support in relation to the processing of starters, leavers, changes and basic payroll processes to cover for annual leave and business demand.
- To support with recruitment and development needs across the business as and when needed.
Your experience
- Employee relations experience is essential
- CIPD Qualifications are desirable at level 3 or 4, but not essential
- Some experience in recruitment and other generalist areas of HR are desirable
- A strong leader who can communicate effectively at all levels
- Proactive organisational and time management skills.
