You will research, develop, maintain, coach and provide best practice to create a test framework to continuously improve the quality of our software products.What You Will Be Doing Working in an Agile methodology (SCRUM) with Developers, POs, Scrum Masters and ArchitectsCreating manual tests for web UI applications built with Angular and AngularJSDevelop, own and maintain automation frameworkBuild and configure automated tests in CI pipelinesMaintain automated test packs for sanity, pre-deployment and post-deployment across the product platformCreate and maintain API tests across multiple layers of the testing pyramidAnalyze and document product defectsMaintain, enhance and develop test automation strategyCollaborate with developers to design a full suite of testing proceduresRaise testing standards and coach software engineers on writing better testsWork with other QA engineers to build testing framework and best practicesInvestigate production issues to identify missing or new testsKeep up to date with quality tools, practices and trends and introduce them to the teamParticipate in discovery of technical solutions with focus on testing (three amigos approach)Who You Are Passionate and motivated about work and lifeSense of urgency and follow-throughThrives in a fast-paced, agile startup environmentCustomer-focused with a customer-first mentalityRespectful, courteous, harmonious, and conscientiousEssential Skills 5+ years of manual testing experienceFamiliarity with basic automation conceptsHands-on automation testing with tools such as Postman, SeleniumHands-on API testing experienceExperience with test management and defect tracking toolsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience creating tests in Java and/or TypeScriptKnowledge of KafkaAbility to define and use different test strategies (unit, component, integration, system tests)Desirable Skills Experience in complex and dynamic environmentsExperience with API ecosystem or fintech domainsMaintaining and improving codebase qualityTesting in a cloud environmentExperience with tools like SonarQubeNon-functional/performance testing experienceOther benefits may include medical coverage, pension/401k, stock options, generous holiday entitlement, mental health days and development allowancesEEO Statement Gravitee is an equal opportunity employer.
