We’re hiring a Senior MLOps Engineer to join a fast-growing AI consultancy based in Manchester City Centre (3 days on-site). You’ll take ownership of production ML systems and help shape how models are deployed, scaled, and maintained for clients.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading deployment and scaling of ML systems for client projects
- Working closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers in a collaborative, pair-programming environment
- Owning features end-to-end, from design through to production support
- Participating in sprint planning and architectural decision-making
- Improving best practices around experiment tracking, model versioning, and monitoring
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering roles
- Strong production Python experience
- Hands-on experience training and serving ML models
- Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
- Strong working knowledge of Docker, Linux, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Experience deploying systems you’ve helped design
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligible for SC clearance
Nice to have:
- Practical MLOps experience in live environments
- Kubernetes and IaC
- Experience with LLM or agent-based systems
- Open source contributions or technical writing
