A leading international insurer is seeking an experienced catastrophe modeller or exposure analyst to take ownership of group-level non-natural peril management. You’ll play a key role in analysing exposures, shaping risk appetite, and ensuring the business stays ahead of a rapidly changing geopolitical and man-made risk landscape.
What You’ll Do
- Lead group exposure management for non-natural perils (terrorism, war, marine, aviation).
- Ensure modelling methods and the internal View of Risk reflect current threats.
- Deliver key regulatory submissions (PRA, BMA, Lloyd’s).
- Integrate new tools, views, and processes into exposure systems.
- Produce clear MI that supports underwriting and risk decisions.
- Mentor junior analysts and support broader peril monitoring.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ catastrophe modelling or exposure management experience.
- Interest in geopolitical/man-made risk.
- Comfort with technical tools (SQL, R, VBA useful).
