Student & Academic Support Officer | £35,605 | London | Hybrid

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Student and Academic Support Officer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional support services for our diverse student community, ensuring the smooth operation of academic processes, and leading on critical projects to enhance academic operations.

We are currently out to market for a Support Officer to assist with our growing student numbers this year, we find ourselves in the unique position of a growing student body, and we need support from driven, proactive professionals who can assist in providing comprehensive support for students in their academia, support and maintenance.

Role: Student & Academic Support Officer

Contract: Permanent

Location: London, hybrid 3 days on site (First 5 weeks, on site every day).

Salary: £35,605

Benefits: USS pension scheme (19%-21%), 30 days + Uni Closure days + bank holidays, and more.

Key skills required for this role:

  • Proven experience in a support or academic administrative role.
  • Experience working with data and using reporting methods and tools.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and professional etiquette.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to use IT Systems and Microsoft packages.

It is imperative you are proactive in your approach to work and enjoy building relationships with key stakeholders in the university. This role is customer facing, having the right mindset and eagerness to achieve quality customer service is essential.
