We are supporting a university on an exclusive basis for a newly created position; an Integration Developer to focus on Salesforce development initiatives to drive utilisation of the systems for student recruitment/enrolment and admissions. Joining the programme at an early stage, there will be plenty of opportunities to influence, improve and change processes/solutions in order to leave your mark. Summary of the Role:

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Location: Remote
  • Salary: £52,675 - £55,125 - progression up to £63,000 available
  • Benefits: Pension, 30 days + Uni Closure days + bank holidays, and more.

What we need to see as essential:

  • Demonstrable experience implementing middleware and integration technologies in complex enterprise systems
  • Cloud platform experience (Azure)
  • Working knowledge of source control platforms – DevOps / GitHub
  • Experience and programming skills: SQL, REST API, C#

Key Projects You will be involved in:

  • Integrate Azure Service Bus and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, setting up CI pipelines – to build and test codes and CD pipeline to deploy it
  • Transitioning from SITS to Salesforce to manage student recruitment and admissions
  • Ad hoc requests as per business needs

As well as the main project, the role holder works as part of a team with responsibility for the operational delivery of application integrations and data interfaces; leveraging advanced tools and services for continuous improvement and automation. The majority of the integrations are end-point integrations, so C# knowledge & experience is critical for this role. Joining the programme at an early stage, the post holder will have plenty of opportunities to influence, improve and change processes/solutions in order to leave their mark. Across all these projects, you will be given the autonomy in ensuring effective communication with students and staff, address issues proactively, and produce accurate data and reports to support decision-making.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of student record systems such as SITS/eVision
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripts
  • Experience with formal project management (Waterfall / Agile)
  • Experience creating CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience of pub/sub architecture and other integration patterns
  • Experience with Salesforce integration
