We’re supporting a global consultancy delivering a large-scale infrastructure and data centre transformation programme for a major enterprise client. This role will focus on overseeing complex transition and migration activities across multiple workstreams, supporting the movement of critical services from an existing data centre environment into a managed hosting and mainframe-based platform. The successful candidate will operate at programme level, working closely with client stakeholders, technical teams and delivery leads to ensure successful coordination, governance and execution across a highly complex environment.
Key Experience Required
- Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure transformation or data centre transition programmes
- Strong background in data centre relocation, exit, hosting transition or estate consolidation initiatives
- Experience operating within Managed Services / MSP environments
- Exposure to legacy, core systems or mainframe environments
- Strong programme governance, RAID, budgeting and stakeholder management experience
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams across complex enterprise programmes
- Experience working with enterprise consultancies or service providers
- Prince2, MSP or equivalent programme delivery certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead programme coordination across multiple infrastructure and migration workstreams
- Manage governance, reporting, risks, dependencies and delivery oversight
- Act as the key interface between the consultancy, client stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Support large-scale data centre and hosting transition activities
- Ensure programme delivery aligns with agreed timelines, budgets and service expectations
