We’re partnering with an international consumer brand as they establish and grow their UK presence. They are looking for an MRO Procurement Manager to lead procurement and commercial negotiation for offline marketing, events and brand‑promotion activity across the UK. In this role you’ll take ownership of offline media buying, major sponsorships, events and influencer collaborations – ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and with the best possible commercial value.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead procurement, pricing negotiations and supplier selection for offline media such as billboards, bus and taxi advertising and other OOH channels.
  • Manage end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale projects including sports sponsorships, music festivals and commercial events – from negotiation through to execution and post‑campaign review.
  • Source, evaluate and contract local influencers, managing negotiations, agreements and a structured influencer database.
  • Build and manage a high‑quality supplier base across advertising, events and influencer agencies, continuously improving performance and value.
  • Own budgets and cost control for your category, reviewing project performance and proactively identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
  • Monitor contract implementation, troubleshoot operational issues and ensure smooth, compliant delivery of all projects.
  • Conduct ongoing market research into the UK marketing and media landscape, building a strong pool of resources to support brand‑building initiatives.

About You

  • Excellent written and spoken English, with your career built in the UK and a strong understanding of local culture, media and marketing operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and proven experience in media buying / marketing procurement, ideally with exposure to international brands or overseas collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of how outdoor advertising, transit media, sports sponsorships and influencer marketing are structured and bought in the UK.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills, clear focus on cost control and confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders at pace.
  • Well‑developed local networks with UK media owners, event operators and influencers are highly desirable.
  • Meticulous, risk‑aware and highly organised, with excellent communication and coordination skills and a results‑driven mindset.
