Gravitas is currently supporting a financial services organisation in their search for a Technical Operations Manager. Reporting to the CTO, the successful candidate will be responsible for 5 engineers with a focus on supporting growth across the UK team as well as a new European office. You will maintain office-based infrastructure across 2 locations, support the onboarding and offboarding process and be responsible for running and improving the operational improvement process. Taking on an understanding of the reliability and security of the estate by continuously assessing and completing weekly reviews.
Role: Technical Operations Manager
Salary: Up to £90,000
Location: London Office - 3 days a week onsite with occasional travel to Europe office.

Essential Skills:
- 7-9 years of experience in Technical Operations.
- Proven expertise in guiding, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Background within financial services, regulated industries, or rapidly expanding startups.
- Strong experience in managing essential IT infrastructure within office environments - such as: Wi-Fi connectivity, video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet), and troubleshooting hardware issues.
- Expertise in Okta / supporting the TechOps ecosystem for MacBook users.
- Extensive experience in employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, including the configuration of devices (MacBooks/Windows laptops) and managing access permissions.
- Adept at addressing immediate operational challenges (such as setting up new offices) while ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience opening international offices - multi office set ups.
- Experience supporting/managing international teams.
