Systems Trainer – Student Systems Implementation

Fixed-Term until October 2026 | £36k - £42k | Hybrid – London 1-2 days a week

Are you experienced in delivering high-quality systems training and end-user support within large, complex environments? Are you excited by the idea of playing a key role in the successful rollout of a major student systems implementation?

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll play a key part in embedding new digital capabilities across the student lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Working closely with SMEs in designing and delivering engaging training sessions and materials for new student systems as per releases (Release one is Admissions)
  • Providing first-line support and expert advice to system users across multiple departments
  • Advising on best practice use of the system to improve user efficiency and data quality
  • Supporting the transition from legacy systems and helping embed the new solution
  • Leading your own workstreams and contributing to a positive change culture
  • Collaborating across business areas to identify user needs and training gaps

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in systems training design and delivery
  • Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience providing 1st-line systems support, ideally in education or public sector
  • Project experience involving system transitions and user onboarding

Desirable Skills

  • Higher Education experience
  • Experience working on Implementation of SITS or knowledge of SITS as student system
  • Experience working as a Trainer on a major transformation project

The new system will provide capabilities in all areas of Student management from Admissions, Records, Progression, Awards and Graduation as well as further capabilities in Finance, Course & Curriculum Management and Reporting.
