M365 Product Owner Location: Home based – with travel to UK sites as required (typically twice per month)

Working Pattern: Hybrid, with onsite presence based on business needs

We are currently supporting an organisation in the search for an M365 Product Owner to take ownership of a highly visible and strategically important Microsoft estate. This is a broad role for someone who can operate at the intersection of product ownership, stakeholder engagement, technical delivery, and digital strategy. You will play a key role in shaping how Microsoft technologies are used across the organisation - defining the roadmap, getting engagement from internal stakeholders, and translating business needs into scalable solutions. The Role

  • Define and deliver the M365 product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities
  • Engage stakeholders to capture requirements and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable product direction and outcomes
  • Advise on how Microsoft technologies can best support business objectives
  • Monitor market trends and emerging capabilities to inform ongoing strategy
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Provide oversight and direction across Microsoft-focused delivery activity
  • Champion adoption and drive awareness of the platform’s value across the organisation
  • Support teams working across Microsoft technologies, providing direction and technical credibility
  • Build internal engagement and momentum around the value of the platform

Core Requirements

  • Proven experience in product ownership or similar roles
  • Strong knowledge of M365 and the wider Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform
  • Ability to define strategy, set roadmaps, and prioritise based on business value
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work across technical teams and senior leadership
  • Clear communicator, able to translate between business needs and technical solutions
  • Solid technical grounding, with the credibility to challenge and guide delivery
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and delivery levels

Desirable

  • Experience with Microsoft tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, or automation technologies
  • Background in transformation, digital workplace, or automation initiatives
  • Ability to influence, coach, and drive adoption across a business
  • Interest in emerging Microsoft technologies and innovation
  • Experience building momentum for new ideas in complex organisations
