We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager to lead a complex Transformation Programme.
Location: London, 2 Days on site
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Transformation Programme, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely, high-quality execution.
- Manage prioritised analytics and data science use cases across digital and delegated authority domains.
- Implement enhanced delegated authority reporting, integrating tools.
- Oversee the Power BI transformation; designing and implementing dashboards, semantic models and governance frameworks, and driving user adoption strategies.
- Engage operational teams (underwriting, actuarial, claims) to validate reporting requirements and ensure business needs are met.
- Run Executive Steering Groups, presenting clear and concise updates on risks, issues, and progress.
- Maintain programme budget with accurate forecasting and variance management.
- Ensure agile delivery practices are adhered to, including well-defined epics, sprints, and backlog management.
- Mentor analysts and developers, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in programme management of large-scale technology/change programmes.
- Track record of successfully delivering data analytics and data science initiatives in cloud environments. Azure experience is beneficial.
- Experience in agile project management with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Thorough experience in the insurance and/or financial services sector; knowledge of Lloyd’s of London operations is advantageous.
- Expertise in tools and platforms supporting data analytics, reporting and visualisation.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams effectively.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills within a dynamic programme environment.
This is a pivotal role for a results-oriented leader with a strong data background and the ability to collaborate across business and technology functions to achieve transformational outcomes.
