Job Title: UX Product Designer (Contract)

Location: Hybrid – 1 day per week in Central London

Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35)

Day Rate: £380/day

Company Overview:

A scaling organisation within the utilities sector is seeking a skilled UX Product Designer to join their team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to user-centric product development within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with front-end engineers and cross-functional teams to design user-centric solutions.
• Lead UX design efforts across digital products with a strong focus on customer experience.
• Use Figma extensively to develop and communicate design ideas and prototypes.
• Optimise user journeys with a focus on Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) .
• Design and improve customer-facing website experiences, ensuring alignment with business and user goals.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience as a UX Designer , ideally within a Product or Utilities-focused company .
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams , particularly with front-end developers.
• Strong proficiency in Figma .
• Solid background in designing for websites with a focus on customer experience.
• Practical, user-centric design mindset with a collaborative working style.
• Experience in CRO methodologies and implementation.
