Lead Data Analyst - Predictive Analytics in Manchester

Location: Hybrid (1–2 days per month in the office)

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping the data strategy and analytics capability within our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to influence platform and tool selection, develop predictive models, and deliver impactful insights that drive decision-making.

You will lead projects focused on segmentation and predictive analytics, such as forecasting repairs, predicting staffing levels, and analysing income trends. Reporting to you will be a Junior Data Scientist and a Customer Insights Analyst, with plans to expand the team further.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data strategy and predictive models.
• Deliver segmentation and analytics projects that inform business decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the data engineering team (note: this is not an engineering role).
• Influence platform and tool selection for analytics and data science.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
• Experience in predictive analytics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of Python or R (nice-to-have, not essential).
