Gravitas is supporting a data-driven organisation within financial services in the search for an Insight & BI Analyst to join a growing analytics function based in Manchester city centre. This is a dual-focus role combining business intelligence delivery with deeper analytical insight. It’s an excellent opportunity for a strong graduate or early-career analyst who enjoys working with data end-to-end, from building clear, high-quality reporting to answering the “so what?” through analysis that genuinely influences commercial decision-making. What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and management information that give stakeholders clear visibility of business performance
- Analyse data to surface actionable insight, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across the business
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams to understand data needs and translate them into meaningful analytical outputs
- Support the development of analytical and forecasting models to inform strategy and planning
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes, documentation, and reporting standards
- Present findings clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Help evolve reporting from descriptive MI into insight-led, decision-driving analysis
What You Bring
Core Experience
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or similar)
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL, with the ability to write clean, efficient code for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience generating insight from data, with the ability to clearly explain what the results mean and why they matter
- A structured, analytical problem-solving mindset
- Highly diligent and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and data modelling
- Exposure to building MI or management reporting suites
- 2+ years’ industry experience, ideally within financial services, debt purchasing, or collections
- Some exposure to statistical or predictive modelling techniques
