Gravitas Group are partnered with a leading UK Housing Association. They’re looking to grow their Service Charge team and hire a Leasehold Officer. As a Leasehold Officer, you’ll take ownership of the entire Section 20 consultation process, from issuing notices and logging follow-ups to responding to observations within legislative timeframes. You’ll assist in all consultations and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the Section 20 consultation processes compliance, and service charge administration
- A detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a commitment to accuracy
- Issuing invoices for works carried out under Section 20 within the required 18-month timeframe
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with the wider Service Charge team
- Check compliance with legal agreements, leases, and management agreements
- Challenge unreasonable charges and ensure that services being charged for are provided
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Neighbourhoods, Finance, and Legal teams to support service charge activities
