I'm currently partnering with a leading financial services organisation looking to hire a Senior Network & Cloud Engineer to play a key role in strengthening and evolving their infrastructure estate. This position places a strong emphasis on enterprise networking and Azure cloud.
What you'll bring:
- Strong experience across network and cloud engineering
- Proven expertise within Microsoft Azure
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, QoS)
- Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security
- Solid knowledge of Zero Trust / modern security frameworks
- Experience working in complex, mission-critical environments
- Backgrounds outside financial services are welcome
Tech stack:
- Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Python, Bash
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep (or similar)
Additional:
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
