I’m currently working with a city-based financial services organisation looking to hire a Senior Java Developer to join their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a Head of Engineering pathway within 12–24 months, while working on high-performance, business-critical systems in a capital markets environment.
Key requirements:
- 7+ years’ Java experience within Financial Services / Capital Markets
- Strong expertise in Java 11+, Spring / Spring Boot
- Experience with multi-threading, performance tuning and profiling
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Hands-on with Git, Maven, JUnit, Spock, Mockito
- Proven ability to work on high-performance, scalable systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Location: London city (3 days onsite)
