Are you an experienced Management Liability Underwriter looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading insurer with a strong presence in the UK market, is seeking a driven and analytical professional to join their dynamic team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for underwriting Management Liability (ML) accounts, building and maintaining strong broker relationships, and contributing to the growth of a profitable UK portfolio. You’ll work closely with the Team Leader and collaborate with other departments such as actuarial, claims, and product development, giving you excellent exposure across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Management Liability accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers to drive business growth.
- Provide expert technical underwriting and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams on product development and market insights.
- Coach and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Previous experience in D&O/Management Liability underwriting or broking.
- Strong knowledge of ML products and the UK broker market.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
- Ability to travel for broker meetings and business development when required.
