I am excited to announce that we have partnered with a Housing Association who are entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation. We are seeking a Director of IT & Transformation to play a pivotal role in delivering their ambitious 5-year corporate plan. This is a newly created role within a new directorate, designed to lead a major transformation agenda across the organisation.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead organisation-wide transformation, not just IT. This is a strategic, change-focused leadership role where you will shape how the business operates, embedding a modern, high-performing, and customer-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver large-scale transformation programmes aligned to business strategy.
- Lead both IT and organisational development (OD) functions, aligning technology, people, and processes.
- Act as a catalyst for cultural change and innovation, driving continuous improvement across the business.
- Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT and digital strategy, improving systems and customer services.
- Ensure robust cyber security, infrastructure, and IT governance frameworks.
- Provide strategic leadership at Board and SMT level, contributing to corporate decision-making.
- Crucially, this role is not inheriting a fixed structure, you will help design the future operating model.
About You

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Housing experience is beneficial, but not essential.
