Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality records and assist in delivering accurate financial reporting to senior management and other stakeholders on all treasury matters.
- Maintain charged security records and monitor all bank and investor covenants to always ensure compliance.
- Uphold the integrity of the treasury management system, identifying opportunities for ongoing improvements.
- Collate and report the Group’s short-term cashflow forecasting.
- Use working knowledge to support the Financial Planning and Analysis team in the preparation of medium to long-term business plans and budgets.
- Manage the Group’s surplus cash positions in line with approved treasury management policies and strategies.
- Take a lead role in managing the Group’s operational banking requirements, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective banking support.
- Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
- Take a proactive approach to providing an efficient and cost-effective treasury service.
- Demonstrate a high degree of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail in all treasury transactions.
Essential Experience
- Qualified or studying towards an ACCA, CIMA, ACT or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in maintaining accurate records and working under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse data critically.
- Knowledge of BACS, CHAPS, and corporate banking platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to quickly gain the respect of internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercially aware with a results and service-oriented mindset.
