We are currently supporting a Local Authority who are undergoing significant work across GIS and require a more Technical GIS Officer.
Responsibilities:
- iShare Decommissioning (Primary Deliverable)
- GIS System Upgrade & Stabilisation
- LLPG Vesting-Day Readiness
- Back-Office GIS Support & Risk Reduction
- Esri Utilisation & System Optimisation
- Training, Upskilling & Knowledge Transfer
Essential Skills:
- Strong back office GIS system management experience.
- Coding/scripting - Python.
- Understanding and experience with Land Clan suite.
- Familiarity with Esri, including ArcGIS Pro.
- Experience in planning or local government environments.
- Ability to train, upskill, and support non-technical users.
- Ability to deliver system improvements independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Creative, solutions driven mindset.
- Ability to identify under utilised tools and improve system usage.
- Ability to streamline workflows and optimise digital processes.
Role Details:
- Length of contract - 6-12 months
- Day Rate - Circa £300 DOE
- Hybrid - On site twice a month in Surrey
- IR35 - Pending Confirmation, likely Outside
