The Role

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to help lead our move from Business Objects to Power BI. Over the next year or so, we’ll be migrating around 150 reports into Power BI, creating modern dashboards that are easy to use and accessible across the organisation. You’ll work closely with different teams to understand their needs, tidy up duplicate reports, and make sure the new dashboards add real value.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Migrating and consolidating Business Objects reports into Power BI dashboards
  • Translating SQL queries (Oracle to Microsoft T-SQL) and using Power Query for data prep
  • Working with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve report usability
  • Building dashboards in line with our existing templates and accessibility standards
  • Supporting future data warehouse and reporting developments

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience developing dashboards in Power BI
  • Good working knowledge of SQL (T-SQL essential; Oracle experience a bonus)
  • Confident using Power Query
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business
  • Nice to have: experience with Business Objects, Excel, or presenting your work to others

Why Join

  • Be the go-to person for Power BI migration and have a real impact on how they use data
  • Join a growing data team with strong leadership support and a long-term plan for development
  • Learn more about data warehousing and enterprise BI along the way
