OverviewLocation: South of (England 2 days per week in office)
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience in the Housing and IT sectors to join our team on a full-time basis for a contract duration of 3 months. The role offers £300 per day and requires the successful candidate to be onsite in the South of England two days per week.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of analysing, documenting, and improving business processes within the housing or public sector. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and define requirements, support the development of IT solutions, and contribute to the successful delivery of business change initiatives.
Responsibilities
Engaging with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional and non-functional requirements
Documenting current and future state processes using standard business analysis tools and methodologies
Supporting the implementation of IT systems that align with housing sector needs
Facilitating workshops and meetings to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure user acceptance
Producing high-quality documentation including business cases, process maps, use cases, and user stories
Liaising with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects
Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the housing or public sector is essential
Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile delivery methodologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to gather and interpret data to inform business decisions
Experience working on system implementations, upgrades, or digital transformation projects
Experience within the housing sector, particularly with housing management systems. Orchard MRI is highly desirable
