About the Role
We are partnering with a Midlands based housing association to support them on a major transformation programme to implement a new finance system, and we’re looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead end‑to‑end testing across this critical delivery. With further transformation projects likely (including HR, Housing & Asset systems), this role offers strong long‑term impact and potential beyond the initial programme. You’ll take ownership of the full test strategy and delivery for the finance system implementation, working closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts and stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining and implementing a comprehensive test strategy for systems and associated integrations.
- Building and managing test plans, scripts, cycles and reporting metrics (pass rates, progress, etc.).
- Leading all test phases including system, integration, UAT, performance/load and data migration testing.
- Driving test governance, tracking and reporting to stakeholders.
- Identifying tooling, resourcing and environments required for successful delivery.
- Coaching and supporting wider teams to improve testing capability.
- Acting as a visible test leader, embedding best practice across the programme.
About You
We’re looking for a well‑rounded Test Manager who can combine technical expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end test management on complex system implementations.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) and SaaS environments.
- Experience managing UAT and business‑facing testing in change‑resistant environments.
- Ability to drive structure, reporting and visibility across test cycles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
