Role Overview

This role is integral to the organisation's reinsurance team, supporting the drafting, review, and management of reinsurance contracts and related documentation. The successful candidate will liaise with brokers, clients, and internal teams to guarantee accuracy, contractual compliance, and market standard adherence throughout the placement process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and produce a variety of reinsurance contracts and documentation
  • Analyse contractual language to identify potential coverage or contractual issues
  • Support brokers and account teams with queries related to contracts
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and contract certainty
  • Review and interpret market clauses, providing recommendations where appropriate
  • Ensure all documentation complies with governance, regulatory, and market standards
  • Maintain awareness of evolving market practices, regulatory changes, and trends affecting contract wordings

Requirements

  • Proven reinsurance market experience
  • Experience with Marine & Energy reinsurance (advantageous but not essential)
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and reside in the UK

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GIB COB Treaty, GIB COB Excess of Loss, GIB COB Marine Hull, GIB COB Marine Cargo, or KRQA skills

This is a permanent role based on-site with a hybrid working environment in London. The position requires on-site presence and is initially offered for a two-week period starting from 22/06/2026.
