The International Contracts Leader at our client drives contracts strategy and governance for the UK P&C and Europe portfolios.

This senior-level position requires a strong technical background in reinsurance contract drafting and interpretation, combined with operational leadership skills.

  • Demonstrate technical capability in reinsurance contract drafting and interpretation supporting treaty wordings.
  • Support in analysing complex contractual issues and produce clear legal guidance for brokers, underwriters, and clients.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts across proportional and non-proportional treaty structures.
  • Use excellent written and verbal communication skills when engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Power Point) and familiarity with contract drafting platforms or clause libraries.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; legal qualifications, CII, or insurance-related professional qualifications are highly desirable.
