Senior IT Operations Manager
A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead the delivery, resilience and operational management of enterprise infrastructure platforms across cloud and on-premise environments.
Experience Required
- Proven leadership of Infrastructure, Platform Operations or IT Operations teams.
- Experience managing large-scale hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments.
- Strong background in automation, operational excellence and infrastructure transformation.
- Expertise in incident management, disaster recovery, resilience testing and business continuity.
- Vendor, supplier and budget management experience.
- Experience supporting highly available, business-critical environments.
- Prior experience in Trading, Asset Management, Investment Banks, Exchange or clearing house
Key Technical Skills
- Microsoft Azure (IaaS, networking, resilience, hybrid cloud)
- Windows Server & Linux administration
- VMware / Virtualisation platforms
- Cisco networking (routing, switching, segmentation, connectivity)
- Enterprise Storage, Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Entra ID / Active Directory / Hybrid Identity
- Kubernetes & Container Platforms
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar)
- Automation & Configuration Management
- Zscaler or equivalent Zero Trust / Secure Access solutions
- Citrix & End User Computing technologies
- Vulnerability Management, Patching & Security Operations
- Monitoring, Capacity Management & Operational Reporting
