Awaab’s Law Trainer
Location: Hybrid (Some in-person training required in North- West)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months
Day Rate: ~£500pd (IR35 determination Inside)
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Trainer to design and deliver high-quality training to support Awaab’s Law Phase One readiness and implementation. You will create engaging training materials and deliver online and face-to-face training to a wide range of audiences, with a strong emphasis on repairs & maintenance, customer service, and regulatory compliance within the social housing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop clear, high-quality training materials (slide decks, guides, exercises, quick reference materials, etc.).
- Deliver in-person training to varied audiences (operational teams through to stakeholders), adapting style and content to different levels.
- Provide training focused on:
- Repairs & maintenance processes
- Customer service expectations
- Regulatory requirements and compliance
- Awaab’s Law Phase One
- Travel to multiple sites across the region to deliver training during the rollout period
- Support readiness activity and "get up to speed" quickly to meet delivery timelines.
- Support post go-live training needs / refresher sessions as required through Christmas.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience designing and delivering training (not just delivery - must be capable of producing quality materials).
- Strong track record delivering in-person training to a broad range of audiences.
- Experience delivering repairs and maintenance training, with a strong focus on:
- Customer service
- Regulatory / compliance requirements
- Comfortable working at pace and starting immediately.
Desirable / Preferred
- Experience delivering training specifically for Awaab’s Law Phase One.
- Social housing sector experience (repairs, compliance, housing management environments).
- North West-based (or able to be in the North West regularly for on-site delivery).
Additional Notes
- This role requires travel to different sites during the training delivery window.
- Contract is expected to run to Christmas, assuming some post go-live support is needed.
