Senior FIX Connectivity Specialist
A leading financial services firm is looking for a senior FIX Connectivity specialist to manage client onboarding, support and ongoing development of its electronic trading connectivity.
Experience Required
- Strong background as a FIX protocol subject matter expert within trading or investment banking
- Experience managing the full client onboarding lifecycle, from initial contact through to live setup
- Experience providing production support on electronic trading platforms
- Strong problem solving skills, able to handle bespoke client requirements
- Comfortable managing multiple onboardings and issues at oncei>
- Able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team
- Strong stakeholder management across internal teams, clients and vendors
Key Technical Skills
- FIX Protocol, including certification, onboarding and message handling
- Experience with FIX engine platforms
- Python or Perl scripting for automation
- Unix / Linux environments
- Knowledge of equity trading workflows
- Agile and software development lifecycle exposure
