The Technical Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between clients, business stakeholders, and engineering teams. The role involves gathering and challenging requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and supporting end-to-end solution delivery. This position ensures solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with platform workflows, integrations, and data flows to support the organization’s investment platform projects.
Key Skills & Experience- Experience as a Solutions Consultant, Functional Consultant, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role
- Strong ability to understand and break down complex systems and requirements into structured solutions
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Knowledge of platform-based or complex system environments
- Familiarity with software delivery lifecycles and agile methodologies
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Ability to engage, challenge, and probe clients to understand requirements thoroughly
- Lead client discussions to gather and define requirements, shape solutions, and establish scope
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to refine requirements
- Convert business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams
- Design end-to-end solutions, including architecture considerations and user journeys
- Manage scope, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder expectations
- Support solution implementation, ensuring outcomes meet client expectations
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure effective understanding and delivery of requirements
- Support integrations and data flows between internal systems and external client platforms
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and ways of working
- Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing clear recommendations and guidance
- Demonstrate a strong technical understanding and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven experience in a client-facing solutions or delivery role
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior clients
- Ability to shape solutions and define scope within complex systems
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Comfortable working across both business and technical stakeholders
- Right to work in the UK and location in London
- Experience working in or familiar with investment or wealth management platforms
- Familiarity with SQL or data analysis for validation
- Exposure to tools such as Postman or similar API tools
- Knowledge of cloud environments like Azure
- Experience within fintech, banking, or asset management domains
