About the Role
As Head of IT, you will own the operational delivery of IT strategy while shaping future direction. You’ll lead a high-performing function and ensure technology is an enabler of organisational ambition, customer experience, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and evolution of IT strategy, aligned to business goals
- Drive the development of integrated systems and high-quality data capabilities
- Ensure cyber security, resilience, and data protection across all systems
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring reliability and performance
- Lead and develop the IT team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Manage third-party suppliers and technology partners
- Support organisational growth through scalable, future-ready technology solutions
- Contribute at senior level, including board reporting and strategic decision-making
About You
You’re an experienced IT leader who thrives in purpose-driven, evolving environments:
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, delivering both strategy and operations
- Strong track record of IT transformation, systems integration, and data-led decision making
- Experience implementing secure, scalable, cloud-based and digital solutions
- Ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders and boards
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and supplier relationships
- Passion for using technology to improve services and outcomes for customers
