The GEO / AEO Project Manager will spearhead two key programmes—scaling our client’s GEO and SEO capabilities, and managing the migration of commercial customers onto a new Property API. The role requires balancing strategic oversight with tactical delivery, ensuring technical recommendations translate into successful outcomes. The manager will operate across multiple teams to deliver measurable business impact through digital growth initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience- Proven experience managing complex cross‑functional digital or technology programmes
- Strong project management background within product‑led or tech‑driven organisations
- Experience delivering SEO programmes, website optimisations, or digital growth projects
- Understanding of modern GEO principles and AI search landscape evolution
- Experience managing API implementations, customer migrations, or platform rollouts
- Business analysis skills for translating technical recommendations into delivery plans
- Experience working with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, and Customer Success teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong understanding of website architecture, digital platforms, and software delivery processes
- Proficiency in JIRA
- Lead the delivery of GEO and SEO roadmap across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Content teams
- Convert audits, recommendations, and insights into actionable workstreams
- Drive improvements in site architecture, content strategy, structured data, and technical SEO to boost AI search visibility
- Establish scalable GEO and SEO processes and governance for ongoing development
- Monitor performance, track outcomes, and identify opportunities for search visibility and discoverability enhancements
- Own end-to-end delivery of customer migrations to the new Property API
- Develop migration plans, customer segmentation, rollout schedules, and adoption plans
- Coordinate efforts across multiple teams and communicate with customers to ensure transparency and minimal disruption
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalation paths, ensuring successful adoption and positive customer experience
- Build and maintain delivery plans, milestones, and governance frameworks for both programmes
- Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes to senior leadership
